The target group consists of recipients of the previous mailshot for whom the selected reaction has been recorded. The mailshot after the reaction can be connected to any mailshot within the campaign.
All types of reactions can be connected to each email only once.
Each recipient receives a maximum of one email, regardless of the number of different reactions recorded for him in the evaluated day.
The Voucher server, Mailshot-specific blacklist, and importing mailshot-specific attributes, are not supported in this type of mailshot.
|
Evaluating a recipient's reaction occurs in the following order:
Transaction » Click » Open » No reaction.
|

|
Transaction
|
A mailshot will be sent to recipients of the previous mailshot, for whom a related transaction has been recorded in the set period.
The recorded transaction has the highest priority in the reaction evaluation.
This type of mailshot after reaction is only allowed to clients that have activated the Transaction support (tracking, import) application feature.
|

|
Click
|
A mailshot will be sent to the recipients of the previous mailshot who have clicked on the content of a sent email during the set period.
The recorded click has a lower priority in the reaction evaluation than a transaction.
|

|
Open
|
A mailshot will be sent to the recipients of the previous mailshot who have opened an email during the set period.
The recorded opening has a lower priority in the reaction evaluation than a click or a transaction.
|

|
No reaction
|
A mailshot will be sent to the recipients of the previous mailshot who received it, but didn't react to it.
|
The settings for reaction evaluation
The settings determine when emails should be sent.
If several different mailshots after reaction are used a given step of the campaign, then the priorities of the reaction will be taken into account during the reaction evaluation.
Only emails that are connected to a high-priority reaction are sent to the recipients.
|
The number of days are always set to either
- after delivery of the previous mailshot
or
- after recording the reaction (default settings)
It is possible to change this setting in released mailshot only until the emails dispatching starts.
|
A. Reactions are evaluated after delivery of the previous mailshot
The reactions are processed a defined number of days after delivery of the previous mailshot. Then the recipients' reactions are evaluated. The recipients who performed reacted in a desired way, who have not performed a reaction with a higher priority, are connected to another mailshot after the reactions are selected from the target group of the previous mailshot. Other mailshots are then sent to the remaining recipients - see the following example.
Example of a reaction evaluation after delivering the initial mailshot:
mailshot will be sent to the initial mailshot recipients who performed a transaction within 1 day after the initial mailshot was delivered. mailshot will be sent to initial mailshot recipients who clicked on a link within 3 days after the initial mailshot was delivered and did not receive mailshot. mailshot will be sent to initial mailshot recipients who opened the email within 4 days after the initial mailshot was delivered and they didn't receive the mailshot or the mailshot.
Dispatching time is pre-set to the dispatching time of the previous mailshot. It can be changed as needed.
Dispatching can be:
- single
(the initial mailshot is a Single Mailshot), - repeated
(the initial mailshot is a Scheduled Mailshot (Multiple Shots) or an Event Mailshot)
Dispatching then follows the set schedule/event occurrence.
Mailshots will be archived automatically when dispatching ends.
B. Reactions will be evaluated after the reactions have been recorded
Evaluating the specific response types will begin at the set number of days after the previous mailshot has been delivered. The evaluation will run daily for the time specified in the option Last Evaluation.
The target group of a mailshot with these settings is created each day.
It contains recipients that have reacted in the corresponding way within the evaluated day. The recipients are excluded from this target group who also made a higher priority reaction and this reaction is connected to another mailshot after reaction - see the following examples.
Examples of settings and their impact on mailshot dispatching
1. Mailshot after a reaction do not overlap
Mailshot after a Transaction - settings: starts 1 day after the reaction, it is active for 2 days after delivery of the previous mailshot
A mailshot will be sent to all addresses that transactions were recorded for on the evaluated day.
Mailshot after a Click - settings: starts 2 days after the reaction, active for 3 days after delivery of the previous mailshot
A mailshot will be sent to all addresses that clicks were recorded for on the evaluated day and were not included in the target group for the mailshot after a transaction.
Mailshot after an Open - settings: starts 3 days after the reaction, active for 4 days after delivery of the previous mailshot
A mailshot will be sent to all addresses that recorded an open on the evaluated day, and that were not included in the target group for the mailshot after a transaction or the mailshot after a click.
2. Example of consequences of inappropriately scheduled sending of emails after the reaction:
Mailshot after a Transaction - settings: starts 5 days after the reaction, active for 3 days after delivery of the previous mailshot
The mailshot will be sent in total 3 times (on the 6th, 7th, and 8th days after delivery of the initial mailshot). It will always be sent to those recipients who performed a transaction on the basis of the initial mailshot, five days ago.
Mailshot after a Click - settings: starts 2 days after the reaction, active for 7 days after delivery of the previous mailshot
The mailshot will be sent 5 times (on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 8th, and 9th day after delivery of the initial mailshot).
It will not be sent during the period of validity for the mailshot (in our example, the 6th - 8th days). The email will be sent on the 8th day to all recipients of the initial mailshot who have clicked on the link during this period and have not performed a transaction.
The mailshot will be sent on the 9th day, according to the settings (not broken by a higher priority reaction).
Mailshot after an Open - settings: starts 1 day after the reaction, active for 6 days after delivery of the previous mailshot
The mailshot will be sent, according to the settings, to those recipients who have opened the initial mailshot before the mailshot was run (in our example, on the day of delivery up to Day 1).
The mailshot will not be sent during the period of validity for the and mailshots.
The mailshot validity expires in this example on the 7th day, i.e., before the validity of mailshots with a higher reaction priority. Therefore, on the 7th day, the mailshot is sent to addressees who have opened the initial email between the 3rd - 7th days and have not recorded a click nor a transaction during this period.
Dispatching time is pre-set to the dispatching time of the previous mailshot. It can be changed as needed.
Mailshots with these settings are included among Active Mailshots after they have been released. The mailshot will be archived automatically when its validity ends.
